At the beginning of March we already reported on the spin-off of AFES AG from the Avus Group.
The separation has now been completed and the AFES branches formerly operating under the AVUS brand have changed their names or will do so shortly.
Nothing will change directly for our customers as a result of this separation. Existing contracts will remain valid and your contact persons will take care of your concerns as usual.
However, the separation opens up new opportunities for AVUS to serve the whole of Europe with its own branches and partners. Since February, we have been working with great commitment to establish our own branches in the important European markets. In doing so, we are relying on experienced professionals who have many years of expertise in this field.
The first step is our new branch in Germany, AVUS worldwide claims service GmbH in Hamburg. We have been present there for you since 1 June 2023. The branch will be managed by the managing directors Udo Rosebrock and Josef Schörghuber, whose names are known far beyond the German borders for competence and quality in the insurance industry.
We are pleased to announce the opening of another branch office in another important European country, probably at the end of June/beginning of July. We are still waiting for official approvals before we can start operations.
At the same time, we are in the process of establishing further branches in Western and Southwestern Europe. We are also in negotiations with potential partners in various countries.
